Read full description of the books:
This rhyming numbers concept book seems aimed towards preschoolers. It's a quick read and can be used to discuss counting and observations in nature. There's a sprinkling of harder vocabulary words which is good for learning vocabulary too.
Some of the rhyming couplets are lovely - like "What in the world comes eight by eight? Octopus limbs that undulate." Other rhymes seem a little awkwardly worded to fit the rhyme / meter scheme - like "What in the world comes two by two? A pair of birds with wings of blue."
I liked the use of color in the illustrations.
